Hiya
I have a two bed well loved and sad to see go property at MK4 1JH on north furzton , some of the best resulted schools in area catchment, shenleys, shenley brook etc
House I have been told is a nice size for modern build two bed, we have two double bedrooms which will easy fit two singles in either, one bigger than other (friend over road has two double beds in one of hers)
Small regular bathroom with bath sink and loo
My favourite things are the kitchen diner with breakfast bar and room for table and chairs, the privacy of the garden, its tucked away at the middle end of a cul-de-sac with no houses opposite the back garden and next to a bungalow with high fencing, the noisiest things are the birdsong as chestnut trees and typical mk mature tree shrub hedging over the fence. Morning and late afternoon traffic noise can be heard in rush hour but not a biggie issue
New central heating put in last year more eco and economical
Living room is medium size and you can fit two standard 3 seater sofas in or corner group or less or just one hoofing giant sofa recommend with your tv and cabinets etc.
Downstairs loo with sink, could be made into a utility room if have a dishwasher for kitchen perhaps?
New black granite look thick work surfaces in kitchen and standard new beige doors (housing association beige but the worktops snaz up a lot)
Warm chestnut laminate floors hall and kitchen
One double bedroom gets sun all day so very light, the larger double facing street gets sun morning but has two windows so quite light with blinds open, also the two windows mean you could temporary partition if want two smaller rooms.
Garden is medium size and well a n arty cottage garden with herbs and shrubs but needs work to get perfect like decking or new slaps, third patio third plants third needs something doing lol but nice and sunny and great with a pergola up in the summer.
Neighbourhood, in honesty its started fab, went not so fab and then new management kicked out the not so fab neighbours and its gone back too being good area again in my opinion. Its laid back but not tooo laid back area
You can be as private or sociable as you like you will get left alone or will get chatty with neighbours.
Everyone else seems sound and well established with some newbies and its all nice , quiet, kids playing out and everyone looking out for them etc, most take care of their gardens and rubbish so getting quite a tidy street again
Don’t know what else to say really, young family, mid age couples and oap group all fit in happily
Area, lush, the parks, the lakes for walks fishing , great local amenities oh yeah and some of the best exam results in MK for catchment for schools.
I NEED
My daughter has grown and flown so I don’t need the schools and due to ongoing disability with back injury am looking to get a two bed bungalow hopefully with garden in nice area.
If not then two bed house possible if nice area , schools not an issue, transport not an issue but would like another nice area and new start so open to suggestions at this point and very serious about moving on, this has been a loving home, looked after, clean, smoke pet free and would be a happy place for someone in need of this swap
I really don’t want to move to netherfield, lakes estate, bradville kingsfold, fishermead type older houses style please as would like new or old but not concrete build.
Proffered areas are central Bletchley, wolverton, Newport, grange farm, shenleys, furzton, emerson, tattenhoe oxley that kind of thing but open to suggestions and serious swappers only
