Good reason for moving - I am from Bristol & my son is currently being statemented for a special needs school in Bristol so its a forced but necessary move & we will be very sad to go, but are urgently needing to move.
Its a very safe area & has easy access to shops (Wotton town 5 min drive, Yate & Chipping Sodbury 8 & 10 mins drive).
Wickwar itself has a Spar, garage, pub, social club (which might sound awful, but actually it rocks! very user friendly & very cheap beer!) newsagents, & cafe on the High St with regular buses and playing fields 5-7 min walk from the house
It's got it all! You'd be mad to miss it.
