I have a spacious one bed flat in South London, 7 mins walk from Beckenham Place park and Beckenham Hill train station (goes to Blackfriars and Kings Cross St Pancras). There are buses within a few mins walk and Lower Sydenham Rail station is 12 mins walk which goes straight into Charing cross in 25mins. Although the flat is in a close and very residential, just 2 mins down the road the main road links you within 5-15mins to shops, takeways, several sports centres and sports clubs, school, huge savacentre, petrol station, garden centre, parks and other green areas.

The flat is on the first floor of a small 3 storey block built in the late 80's and decent looking. It has 19 foot long front room with large windows and door to private small balcony. Separate kitchen and a hall area with built in large storage cupboards. Bedroom is large double overlooking communal garden also with built in wardrobe. Works are commencing over the coming 3 years for new kitchens, doors, double glazing, bathrooms etc though it doesn't really need it just yet!

The flats have shared parking bays off the street and its a gated entrance with communal gardens. Its very quiet at night. There are 6 flats where I am, an internal stairway with secure entry system. My neighbours are discreet but friendly. There have been no issues in the flats all the time I've been there (10 years) which is a rarity for london! The flat is pet friendly and allows cats, dogs etc if you have or want one. There's a fantastic huge park with woods, fields and a stream for local dogs 7 mins walk. Golf and a public access bar for humans too.

I have been in london a long while and am now looking to re-locate in Brighton where lifes a little slower. I would like a one or two bed, but would consider a studio if very large or with good outdoor space and a studio near the sea or hove lawns.
