I am a council tenant of a semi-detached bungalow in East Runton, 7 minutes to the beach on foot, 5 minutes into the surrounding countryside. The bungalow has double glazing throughout, and double glazed front door and rear, and comprises 2 bedrooms, a living room, wall to ceiling modern-coloured tiling shower/toilet with a level-floor shower facility, kitchen and a brick shed 8X12 changed into a dinning room and connects to the main house through a short corridor from the kitchen. All the floors excepting the kitchen, (which is tiled) have been stripped and varnished a pine colour. The kitchen is fitted with worktops all round, wall units, and base units with a fan assisted oven, and gas hob, with room for fridge/freezer chest style, a dishwasher and an ironing drawer/base unit. A door off the small corridor from the kitchen to the left is to a small utility room where a washing machine and tumble drier is situated and then leads out into the rear garden. There is a rear garden, which has a patio top and bottom dividing the garden into two sections via a dwarf wall with steps up to the top garden. The top section has a small fish pond with a "lady" fountain, a high hedgerow all around for seclusion and two small garden areas either side on top garden, which has been covered with membrane and stone chippings for extremely low maintenance, with a small strip of grassed area on the bottom garden about 6X10 and a large patio area complete with a built-in double BBQ. There is a small garden at the front of the house with a driveway in for a car. The bungalow is situated in a close which is a cul-de-sac and quite quiet all year round. I am looking for a two bed roomed bungalow to exchange to in Norwich of similar layout, but must have at least 2 bedrooms. I will not consider a flat or a house. I cannot do stairs as I am disabled. The reason why I want to exchange to Norwich is because my partner of 17 years died last November 26th and I am now very alone, but have family and friends in Norwich, which is where I would now like to be.
